This is just mores of Ethel's madness for cosplaying. However, this project entailed copious amounts of paint, and gadgets ets she found around the house. Karma couldn't recognize her squirt gun or Ethel's  binoculars anymore. Especially when out next to this newly presented welding goggles after paint and glued on lens.

Ethel has a thing for cosplaying for conventions, the few that go on here. However yes it's an excuse to try out her DIY skills on creating things from scratch and modifying to fit a character's look. So here she made viera ears from final fantasy Xii. All you're looking at is felt, fake fur fabric, card board, wire, and a hair visor, oh and fabric paint for the black spots at the top...

You'd be amazed at what the flats you don't like as much anymore some mod lodge (glossy finish) and a paint brush and a few comic books can accomplish. Ethel's new comic flats are in and she has provided a before picture for your comparison (for once). She took them for a spin at a gig and got some compliments. I know right she wore flats to a gig.

We guess you could say we got tired of seeing people with floral crowns and not having at least one to put on our blog... so we brought out the glue gun and grabbed the closest hair band/visor and a bunch of fake flowers laying around in the house......there! HA!  Okay back to professionalism (tee-hee) yes that's Ethel's face

walking wedges and fierce-some spikes

Ethel got these huge grey wedges from just fab dot com and decided to make them match her leather jacket by using a liquid shoe polish [to make them black] and adding on spikes(s/o to justfab.com and forever21) pardon Ethel's corny alliteration
